Drink


" Who wants to play never have I ever ?" Kiba asked
The whole of the infamous Rookie Nine, Team Gai, and Sai were sitting around Naruto's new apartment. It was a rarity for all of them to be together and Naruto had gone out of his way to supply plenty of food and some booze for this get together. He felt there was plenty for all of them to celebrate the war was over, most of the Akatsuki was gone, Sasuke was back and almost all of them had been promoted to Jonin or even Anbu. Naruto himself had just received word from Lady Tsunade that after he completed forty Jonin ranked missions he would begin his official Hokage training.



" Kiba what is never have I ever?" Hinata asked
Kiba gave her a sly smile as Ino winked at him. Kiba slung his arm over Hinata's shoulder.
" You mean to tell me Hinata that you have never played before ?"
" Obviously not dog breath. I am sure Sai never has either." Naruto said
Naruto was always a little irritated with Kiba lately and no one could quit figure out why.
" Actually Naruto, I read a book about this game. Never Have I Ever is a drinking game in which you take a drink if you have done something and you do not take a drink if you haven't done something or it has never happened to you. For example: Never have I ever been called dickless. This works because what you say has to be something that you have never done before or that has never happened to you. Naruto for instance would have to drink because I know for a fact that you have been called this." Sai said
He gave Naruto one of his weird smiles.
" Seriously Sai one of these days I am going to kill you." Naruto huffed and folded his arms over his chest.
" This is going to be troublesome." Shikamaru chimed in
" No it isn't this is going to be so much fun. You are just lazy as usual." Ino replied
" Well Hinata what do you think want to play?" Kiba asked again
Kiba still had has arm draped over Hinata's shoulder. Hinata shrugged herself out form under his arm.
" It doesn't sound so bad I will play." Hinata responded
She looked over at Naruto and smiled with a little blush painting her cheeks.
" Does anyone not want to play?" Sakura asked
" I would normally not join in on this type of activity but seeing how it is rare for all of us to gather as of late. I shall participate." Shino said




" I will start then since this is my idea Never have I ever peeked in the baths." Kiba said
Everyone took a sip of there drink with the exception of Hinata, Shino, Neji and Lee.
" Sakura I can't believe you after you yelled at me all this time for my Sexy Jutsu." Naruto said
" Shut up Naruto. You Baka all the girls did it just once but we couldn't get Hinata to peek."  Sakura said
" I am a little disappointed in you all that wasn't very youthful." Lee lectured
" Guess it is my turn. Never have I ever skipped a class while at the academy." Hinata said
Shino, Neji, Lee, and Sai were the only ones not to take a drink along with Hinata.
" Hinata that isn't exactly fair when you know the majority of us skipped at least once during the academy days." Kiba said
" You know Kiba I don't think it is fair to fib. I know for a fact that you have peeked in the baths before. I think you should drink twice." Hinata smiled to herself
" Yeah Kiba, I agree you have to play fair it was your idea." Choji said
" Fine then but you know Hinata you don't have to get me drunk to seduce me if that is what you are planning." Kiba responded
" You are completely shameless Kiba." Tenten said
Sasuke looked over at Naruto who had curled one of his fist.
" Never have I ever wondered what my cousin Hinata looked like with out her jacket on."  Neji said
" Neji" Hinata exclaimed while donning a blush
No one said anything but everyone took a sip of their drink. Naruto smirked at Hinata knowingly.




" Never have I ever had a crush on Sakura." Tenten said
The only people to drink were Naruto, Lee, and Sasuke.
" Well that is just embarrassing it is not like I like Sakura like that anymore. Besides we all know she has the hots for the Teme over there." Naruto yelled
Sakura blushed a little and glanced at Sasuke she did look very pretty.
" Shut up Dobe." Sasuke said
" Alright now for my turn. Never have I ever wasted my youthful energy and missed a day of training." Lee said with his nice guy pose
Kiba, Tenten, Ino, Choji, Shikamaru, and Sakura all took a drink.
" I knew this was going to be a drag alright never have I ever lost a shogi match." Shikamaru said
Everyone with the exclusion of Hinata took a drink.
" What Hinata ever time we have baby sitting duty you never play me." Shikamaru inquired
" I am sorry Shikamaru but why would I want to loose my perfect record."
Hinata responded.
" I understand."  Shikamaru shrugged
" I love this game. Never have I ever messed around with a girl." Ino said
Choji looked at his girlfriend  a little shocked. As all the guys in the room took a drink.
"What Choji don't look at me like that I wanted to know. I was wrong about some of you though. And besides it is not like we haven't every done anything before all the girls know about it anyway." Ino said
Choji had the decency to blush has Ino winked at him.
" Never have I ever tried sardine flavored potato chips." Choji said
No one took a drink
" I knew you were going to say that." Shikamaru said
" Choji why don't you just try the sardine flavored chips for your self if you are curious." Tenten asked
" No way sardine flavored chips just seem so very wrong. But I had to know if anyone had tried them." Choji said
" Choji as a friend I will one day use my youthful energy and try these chips that you speak of." Lee said



" Never have I ever had feelings of the romantic kind towards a member of my team." Sai said
Everyone looked around to see who was going to drink most everyone had or still had feelings for a member of their team. Some were already dating Tenten and Neji for example as well as Ino and Choji. Everyone but Hinata and Shikamaru took a drink.
" I knew having Sai play would make this a lot more interesting." Ino said
" Or more of a drag." Shikamaru said
" Never have I ever found Sai attractive." Sakura said
Really she was sick of Sai calling her ugly she wanted him to know she felt the same way about him without saying it directly. Ino was the only person to take a drink.
" Actually Sakura before Sai opened his mouth and started talking you did think he was cute cause he kind of looked like Sasuke. I think you should drink twice." Naruto said
" That is not true can it Naruto."
Sakura looked like she was going to beat Naruto to a pulp.
" Maybe you should drink four times I very clearly remember you said he looks like Sasuke. He is kind of handsome but why is he dressed like Ino." Naruto laughed
Sakura was fuming Naruto knew she would get him back later.
" Sakura I agree with Naruto. You should drink four times. Hyuga's are very good at reading body language and can tell when some one is lying." Neji said
" Fine" Sakura surrender and took four sips of her drink
At this point almost everyone was getting a little tipsy.
" I have made an observation Hinata is the only one of us that has not had to drink yet." Shino said



Kiba and Ino exchanged looks the whole point of playing this game was to loosen Hinata up a little so she would spill some of her secrets. Kiba wanted to know if Hinata and Naruto had something going on because if not he was going to make a serious move for Hinata. An Ino just wanted to know because she liked to know all the gossip.
" You know Hyuga Shino is right you haven't had to drink yet but I know something that you could never possibly deny. Never have I ever had a crush on Naruto." Sasuke said
Sasuke smirked at his blonde best friend as Naruto blushed.
" I could never deny that you are right Sasuke." Hinata said
Her whole face almost went red. But what shocked everyone was the fact that Sakura and Ino both took a drink as well.
" So Tenten you were the only female able to resist my charms." Naruto said
Sakura did punch him this time. Naruto glanced over at Hinata with a shy smile on his face that was only meant for her she really was so beautiful and he didn't want to embarrass her but he wanted to know something. He had asked her once but she had changed the subject so fast and artfully he had totally forgot about asking her again until now. Hinata for her part had seen the look Naruto gave her an knew he was going to ask something embarrassing.
" Alright never have I ever practiced my jutsu near a waterfall at night with no clothes on." Naruto said
He dared to glance over at Hinata whose whole entire face was turning red.
" Naruto seriously you are still on about that girl near the water fall from that mission all those years ago. I told you it was probably a dream."  Kiba said
" The probability of a girl being out in the middle of no where is highly unlikely the only girl for miles and miles was Hinata and she would never do something like that." Shino remarked
" After all these years you still haven't let that one go. Troublesome." Shikamaru said
" Hey Hinata how come your face is turning bright red?" Ino asked
" No way." Sakura said
" Oh my goodness. Hinata all this time you were the girl out by the waterfall weren't you? You never said a thing though and we all had to listen to Naruto talk about that encounter for months before he finally let it go. You do realize he said that was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen I don't get why you never told anyone or him for that matter it doesn't make sense." Tenten said
Naruto's gaze never left Hinata's she looked so cute with pink dusting her cheeks. He watched has resignation took over and she took a small sip of her drink.
" Hina"
Naruto said it so quietly it was no louder then a soft whisper. Naruto suddenly didn't want anyone in his apartment anymore expect for Hinata so he could snuggle with her on his couch. An tease her about the information he had just acquired.
" Well Tenten it is kind of really embarrassing and Naruto was the only person to ever catch me." Hinata said
Her whole face was still completely red.
" Men Shino and I have been missing out on a nice view this whole time." Kiba said
He had a huge grin on his face and let his eyes comb over his female team mate. Naruto wanted to punch Kiba in the face and he would have had Neji not spoken.
" If you ever try to peek at Hinata. I will not hesitate to use 8 trigarms 128 palms on you. And I will know if you do remember I am a Hyuga. Detecting lies is one of my very many specialties." Neji said
" Calm down Neji. I get it okay." Kiba said
Shino remained silent but obviously he would never peek on anyone especially not Hinata he had a great deal of respect for his team mate.



It was Shino's turn now and he was about to do something that was against his nature. But honestly Shino really wanted to know just as badly as everyone else. He personally had a theory that Naruto and Hinata were secretly dating his bugs buzzed when ever the two were near each other.
" Never have I ever been in a secret relationship with Hinata."  Shino said
Personally he didn't want to beat around the bush about the matter anymore and just wanted it out in the open. Kiba looked floored that his usually quiet team mate had asked so blunt of a question.
" Awesome Shino." Ino remarked
Every single one of them watched Naruto intently. Naruto for his part had his eyes locked with Hinata's to see if it was okay to finally tell their friends. He watched as she blushed very prettily and nodded her head at him. It was so quiet has everyone watched Naruto take a sip of his drink.
" I knew it, I knew it." Ino remarked
" You did not Ino. You only thought that after I told you I had a suspicion lately." Sakura said
" Good for the both of you . I am very glad you finally realized that Hinata is amazing Naruto. An Hinata you will have to spill all the details later." Tenten said
Neji just stared at his cousin
" Why didn't you tell me Hinata? You tell me everything else." Neji asked
" Yeah Naruto. Why didn't you say anything to me or Sasuke we are your team mates. I mean not telling Sai. I understand. But why not the two of us or at least me?" Sakura said
Naruto scratched the back of his head nervously.
" It wasn't Naruto who wanted to keep this a secret it was me." Hinata said
" Why Hinata though ? I wouldn't have been making has many passes at you if I knew you had finally gotten Naruto to realize what the rest of us did along time ago." Kiba said
" I didn't many to hurt anyone feelings. But with the war going on I thought it smart to keep this to ourselves. So the enemy wouldn't have an extra weakness to use against Naruto. Also I was afraid that it wasn't going to last."
Naruto at this point had gotten up to go and sit next to his girlfriend he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close to him.
" Well now that you all know about me and Hinata. I guess it is okay to do this in public and Dog breath will stop hitting on my girlfriend." Naruto gave a cocky smile as he said this.
" Yeah yeah." Kiba replied
Naruto leaned into Hinata and whispered in her ear softly
" I love you Hinata. For everything you are and everything you will be. My heart could never belong completely to anyone but you and that was never a secret to me."
" I love you to." Hinata said
As she snuggled herself closer to Naruto.
" Alright well lets drink to Naruto finally realizing Hinata's feelings for him. It only took the Dobe ten years or more." Sasuke said
He raised his glass has everyone cheers to their friends finally finding the love they both deserved.
